Fonds consists of records about Harold Buchwald as well as material created by Buchwald in cooperation with the Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada.
Records include audio and video recordings of interviews of, and presentations given by Harold Buchwald about the Jews of Winkler, Manitoba and Israel. Also includes text of interviews and presentations.
Other records include articles and speeches about Harold Buchwald and his son Richard and a copy of the eulogy given at Buchwald’s funeral.

This collection pertains to the publication of The Poplarfield & District Millenium Album 1900-2000, written and compiled by Edward Ledohowski, initially published in 2001. The nine folders contain textual and photographic records, as well as digital content on 4 compact discs. The textual files contain drafts of text for the books, a descriptive index of the files of negatives, and a hardcover 2nd edition of the book. The photographic negatives comprise many of the images used for the book, and range in size from 35mm to 11.5cm x 7.5cm. The compact disks contain digital copies of photographs and captions, a digital copy of the book, and photographs of research material on Ukrainians in Canada from 1919.
This collections contains a photocopy of a journal written in 1919 by a young woman, Katharina Hildebrandt (1901-1920), who was engaged to be married to Johann Isaac Warkentin, who was murdered on 26 October 1919 in Eichenfeld, South Russia. The collection also includes a Hildebrandt family register of birth and death dates of the children of Heinrich David Hildebrandt (1870-1919), father of Katharina, who also was murdered at the Eichenfeld massacre on October 26, 1919. Another item is a 1988 transcript of an interview of Isaac Warkentin (1908), a brother of Johann who died in 1919.
