The collection has been arranged into seven series and includes textbooks, photographs, pins and name badges, yearbooks and a graduation programme, silver spoons, and design patents.

The fonds consist of records related to the Children’s Hospital of Winnipeg including newsletters, yearbooks and student records from the Children’s Hospital School of Nursing, departmental correspondence, meeting minutes, clippings, discussion papers and reports. The photograph collection contains images of patients, staff, volunteers and the various buildings in which the hospital has been situated. These images were digitized in 2009. There are also a small number of films as well as various pieces of artwork and artifacts including uniforms, trophies, china, silverware and medals

Nurses' Alumni Association of the Winnipeg General Hospital/Health Sciences Centre fonds

The fonds contains all records pertaining to both the Winnipeg General and Health Sciences Centre Schools of Nursing including lists of enrolees, student time books, notes, and handbooks, teaching materials, examination results from the first quarter of the twentieth century, some diplomas and one complete run of years books.

The fonds also contains Alumni related material including the Alumnae Journal, records and history of the Alumni Association, biographical information on select graduates, reference files on nursing and the history of nursing, and information on the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses (MARN).

The photograph collection contains images of student and nursing staff both at graduation and in and around the hospital campus. The slide collection contains teaching materials.

The special collection consists of textbooks, theses, an incomplete second run of the Alumni Journal and Yearbook, an incomplete run of the Canadian Nurse Journal and a small number of volumes related to the history of nursing. In addition, a collection of artwork and artifacts also exist including pins, uniforms, china and silverware

The collection contains items which reflect Margaret (Peggy) Grace Wallace’s nursing training, accomplishments, retirement and death. These items include medals, certificates, a letter of reference, a report of affiliate student, a newspaper clipping, photographs, sculptures and her obituary.

The fond contains records pertaining to the administrative and charitable activities of The Peter Pan Club. The administrative records include minutes, lists of members and volunteers, annual reports, financial reports, guidelines, general information about the Club and photographs of members. Donations, requested and received, encompassed a large part of the organization.
Such records relating to donations include documentation of donations made to and from The Peter Pan Club, requests for funding, wish lists, grants and photographs of donated items and cheque ceremonies. The Club also initiated events and programs to aid with fundraising for the Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Burn Ward and their patients and families. These consist of textual and photographic records of hospital tours and orientations, the Burn Discharge Book Project, Chi-Chi’s Charity Fiesta and the Wishing Wells / collection boxes. Other records consist of miscellaneous ephemera including newspaper clippings, awards and certificates and a cookbook. Artefacts include embroidered badges, plaques, signs, pins and posters.
