The fonds consists of one letter from Charles Lennox dated at Brighton, August 7, 1806. The contents of the letter include a discussion of the defence works on the south coast of England in Brighton as well as the proposed invasion of England.

John Smithurst fonds (Henry Budd Letters)

The fonds consists of 17 letters from Reverend Henry Budd to the Reverend John Smithurst about the conditions in Cumberland and the Pas in Northern Manitoba during the period 1841 to 1851. Budd discusses conditions of the mission, relating information about supplies, the weather, the response of the natives to religious instruction and other daily details of missionary life.

The fonds consists of press clippings glued over pages of a bound volume of Sessional Papers for 1863. It includes newspaper clippings regarding Canadian politics and government from The Daily Globe, Ottawa Citizen, Free Press, The Gazette, The Toronto Mail, Irish Canadian, The Ottawa Times, The Brockville Monitor, The Patriot, Daily Witness, and Merrickville Chronicle. The clippings are not arranged in any apparent order.

The fonds consists of three bound volumes. Volume 1 contains discourses on John 13.22, Matthew 7.11, and Luke 13.7 and is dated September 1, 1850. It could have been written by Bishop David Anderson. Volume 2 contains a day-to-day summary of the collections at St. John's Cathedral and is dated December 3, 1865 - March 26, 1882. Volume 3 contains questions and answers on the history of the primitive church and could have been written by Rupert's Land Bishop Robert Machray.

The fonds consists of a large agricultural account ledger of a terminal grain elevator near Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The ledger includes accounts of warehouses in Ogilvie, Minnedosa, Burnside, Binscarth, Austin, Gladstone, and McDonald, Manitoba. The ledger also includes accounts with many Winnipeg grain families such as Richardson, Sutherland, Armstrong, Rathburn, Kirkwood, Drysdale, Ashdown, and others.

Blakely of the Manitoba Department of Education about the preparation and publication of a textbook on the flora of Manitoba for use in the public schools of the Province. In addition, there is an undated missive from the Department of Education, Manitoba, titled The Course of Agriculture - For the Public Schools of Manitoba.
