The Abraham and Maria Friesen fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence by and to Abraham Friesen relating to his missionary work in India. Much of it is in regards to his financial support which was worked out in cooperation between the American Baptist Missionary Union and the Russian Mennonite Brethren. The letters are in the English language.

The material in this collection consists of selected short books and articles that Kroeker wrote. His records demonstrate his concern for Mennonites in Russia and his involvement with Raduga. Kroeker's book, My Flight from Russia published in 1932, is available in the J.A. Toews library both in the English and the German languages.

The Abram A. Friesen fonds consists of photocopied correspondence, most of it between Friesen and David Toews of Rosthern, Saskatchewan. The correspondence relates to the Board of Colonization but is also of a personal nature. The letters are typed, and are predominantly in the German language.

Abram A. Harder fonds

This fonds consists of a note book into which the diary, printed in the Mennonitische Rundschau were pasted, stariung with June 9, 1965. It is unclear when the original diary was written. The diary was sent to his son John A, Harder of Clearbrook, BC in 1962. Also included is a translation of the diary. The diary documents the running of the orphanage and the difficulties encountered with the government after the First World War. Also included is a copy of an article which talks about the orphanage, written after the death of Justina (Epp) Harder in 1936. The material is in German and English.
