The fonds consists of correspondence, manuscript copybooks related to Frederick Philip Grove's published and unpublished novels, short stories, articles and poems, news clippings, financial documents, biographical material, and photographs. Clippings and financial documents are in chronological order. Most of the material is original, some, such as Greve's poems Wanderungen of 1902, are photocopied from originals held in Germany and elsewhere, like at Queen's University or the University of Toronto. A few published short stories, essays and articles are copied from magazines or newspapers, however, many are extant in original typescripts.

Friends of Sam Waller Museum fonds

The fonds consist of eighteen series: correspondence, meeting minutes, administration, financial records, and reports. These series describe the administration, operation, and financial health of the Friends of Sam Waller Museum. Correspondence records comprise of both inward and outward correspondence as well as notes pertaining to the organization. Administrative and board records include board meeting minutes and resolutions, forms, bylaws, policies, and press clippings.. This series also includes research involving the giftshop. The financial records take up the bulk of the fonds with information returns for every year that the Friends of Sam Waller Museum has been operation. Finally, there is a report that contains a proposal for the development of an endowment fund for the museum and the creation of the Friends of the Sam Waller Museum to facilitate this. As of right now the fonds are solely text based and on paper. The fonds comprises the dates of 2000 until the most recent accrual of documents from 2016.

The personal records of Dr. Sweet include sermon notes, newspaper clippings, and church bulletins. Dr. Sweet was a liberal Baptist. His sermons, as well as the clippings contained in the fonds reflex theological trends in North American Baptist thought in the early twentieth century. Approximately fifty sermons are contained in the fonds. Most include the date and place of delivery by Dr. Sweet. These records are an excellent source of information regarding religion, faith, and devotion among liberal Baptists from 1907 to 1924.

Series 1 consists of 26 coloured photographs and negatives of buildings, businesses, and the cemetery in Carberry, Manitoba taken by the donor in August 1994. Series 2 consists of 30 black and white and 43 colour family photographs. Series 3 consists of 186 black and white and 221 coloured family photographs. Series 4 consists of 220 black and white and 216 coloured family photographs. Series 5 consists of 65 black and white and 31 coloured family photographs, and Dorothy Beswitherick was the co-author of the history. Family histories include correspondence, news clippings, photographs, genealogies, military records, and land titles. In Series 7, 2 black and white photographs show Sidney Telephone Office (1966, 1967). Included in this series are photocopies from the Sidney Outlook concerning community events, 53 black and white photographs and 33 colour photographs of local people, a Carnival, classes.
