School of Nursing

The sous-fonds consists primarily of the administrative and teaching and course materials of the School of Nursing (including outlines, modules, exercises, assignments, tests, seminar booklets, etc.). The sous-fonds is comprised of 13 series: Photographs, Sounds and Moving images, Artifacts, Admissions, Training, Student Life, Graduation, Administration, Finances, Reference files, Anniversaries and Celebrations, Nursing Education Standards and Committees and Faculty meeting minutes.

Collection consists of two items: a list of items included in Grub Box, and a photocopy of “An Ode to Gerry Malaher,” a poem commemorating Gerry Malaher, a well-respected conservation officer in Northern Manitoba.

Sous-fonds consists of the bound minute books and the loose minutes, three iterations of the constitution, financial records, membership lists, correspondence, miscellaneous records are a small number of artifacts.

Ted Tadda collection

The Ted Tadda collection consists of some correspondence from the Department of External Affairs regarding the usage of photographs used in a newspaper and a letter from the Prince Albert Citizen Centennial Committee, and two articles, “A short biographical sketch of the late Edward Field, written by request for the ‘Sheho Standard.’” and “A Brief History of the Town now known as The Pas, Manitoba”. The collection also includes a World War II scrapbook that belonged to Ted Tadda, which contains many full-page newspaper articles as well as small clippings, membership cards, postcards, manuals, application forms, cartoons, propaganda, occupation money, Red Cross pamphlets, letters from Great West Life and Canadian National Rail, and various instructions on how to be frugal and support the war effort.

The Pas Board of Trade fonds

The Pas Board of Trade fonds consists of two minutes books, one with entries from 1917 – 1920, and the other a legal size minute book from 1934 – 1944 consisting of typed minutes of council, annual, and special public meetings, and oaths of office by officials.
