Whitehead Family fonds

The Fonds contains documents pertaining to the business and personal life of the Whitehead family including Joseph Blyth Whitehead, owner and managing editor of the Brandon Sun from 1903 to 1941; Ernest Christie Whitehead, owner and managing editor of the Brandon Sun from 1937-1961, and his son Joseph Alexander Whitehead (1925-1953). The Fonds contains textual records and photographs as well as ephemera. It also contains documents related the Brandon Sun as well as several other newspaper organizations and local clubs and committees. The Fonds are further divided into the following series:
