The sous-fonds reflects the changes and developments in the Department of Nursing from the 1960s until 1973. It is arranged into four series: Administrative, Reports, Nursing services and Inservice education.
Series documents the functions of Inservice Education. Series includes course descriptions and correspondence related to the delivery of Inservice Education, as well as personnel policies for professional nurses, procedural manuals and rules and regulations related to the nursing faculty.

It is arranged into twelve series: Adult Intensive Care Nursing Program, Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Nursing Program, Nursing week, Foundation Courses, Nursing Specialty Courses, Certification Courses, Children’s Hospital, Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program, Photographs, Artefacts, Electronic records and Miscellaneous.
Series documents the functions of Nursing Services, a department underneath the Department of Nursing. Records include supervisor time sheets, ICU drug study assignments (completed by Alice Dyna), information package, ICU course manual, AICNP graduate photos (1960-1978).
