  • CA CPA 1988.113, 1988.129
  • Fonds
  • 1891-1954

Collection consists of photographs of Carberry, some of which Joseph Paynter created. Photographs depict inventions by David Kerr, such as the Jones Windstacker, later known as the Carberry Blower attachment to threshing machines at the turn of the century. Photographs show construction of the Lake of the Woods Milling Company, the Maple Leaf Football Team (champions of Manitoba in 1896). Album illustrates family members. One photograph shows students and teacher of Carberry School ([ca. 1905]). Booklet is dated 1903 and is entitled Souvenirs of Carberry. H. H. Allen took some of the photographs, as did E. R. T. Smith, and Davidson. News clippings describe the Windstacker, and marriages.
