The scrapbook contains material covering mainly the years 1944 to 1956 with two inserts from later years. The scrapbook contains cards, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photographs, schedules, handbooks, ticket stubs, corsage remnants, a fabric "S" and metal jewellery from the Faculty of Science, and other items. The scrapbook covers events during Margaret Oliver's (nee Hammett) academic years from the end of grade 11 through her second year in a post-graduate laboratory technician program, as well as a few items in the years following, most of which took place at the University of Manitoba.

Trophy reads, "Awarded to Margaret Hammett for Athletic Excellence, Faculty of Science, University of Manitoba, 1946-1949."
