Records in this fonds were generated through the administration of United College, including its teaching faculty, governing bodies, committees, and fundraising drives. They include student records, financial records, minutes, and correspondence. Additionally, the fonds contains a group of reports, correspondence, and publications from the Crowe Affair, 1958-1959, documenting the dismissal of Professor Harry Crowe and the subsequent legal ramifications for professorial tenure and free speech across Canada. The fonds also contains records documenting the 1913-1914 joint administration between Manitoba and Wesley Colleges, at the time entitled the United Colleges, that served as a beginning of their administrative cooperation that led to their permanent 1938 merger. Fonds is arranged in twenty-one series.
