Fond consists of records of Vaad Ha’ir relating to kosher supervision, religious conversions, marriages and ritual circumcisions in Western Canada. Records include record books, certifications, financial records and correspondence.

Correspondents relating to kosher products include butchers, retailers and other interested parties. Other correspondence relates to marriage, divorce, mikvah and staffing.

Three volumes contain handwritten registries of circumcisions performed by rabbis.
