The files include student registers of admissions and withdrawals, School of Nursing entrance information and calendars, as well as class orientation and information packages.

Series is a copy of the affiliation agreement between Brandon Mental Hospital and Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing related to student nurses training at both facilities.

Series was created by Dr. George Sisler to document the development of the Alcoholism Program - Chemical Withdrawal Unit and the Alcoholic Treatment Unit at Winnipeg General Hospital which was established at the hospital in 1973.
