Biographical history

The Huntingdon Methodist Circuit included the Manitoba communities of Huntingdon, Bethel and Breezelawn. Both the Presbyterian and Methodist congregations used the Huntingdon school for services after it was built in 1900. The Methodist circuit was served by divinity students supervised by the minister from Souris. The student ministers withdrew their services for this circuit in 1902. Afterwards, members of the three Methodist congregations attended services in Souris.

Custodial history

The records of the Huntingdon Methodist Circuit came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records from an unknown provenance and date.
