Scope and content

Series is an artificial creation by the Archivist of materials related to the Annual Alumni Homecoming event. The Annual Homecoming and Dinner of the Alumni Association began as a tradition in 1910. Between 1920 – 1993 the event included a formal dinner, dance and reunion. Since [1993] the event has been spread over two days and has included the Annual General Meeting, the Jubilee Memorial Lecture (established in 1980), a luncheon and tours of the HSC campus on the first day followed by reunion events and a dinner on the second day.

Series contains audio and visual records of the Annual Homecoming and Dinner of the Alumni Association. Series includes powerpoint presentations, photographs and film footage of the events and recordings of the Jubilee Memorial Lecture. Series also includes three guestbooks signed by Alumni members when visiting the Archives/Museum on these occasions.
