Records described in MAIN do not account for all archival records held within the province. Manitoba repositories, including institutions not in MAIN, have made descriptions of their records available through other databases, including the following:
Archives of Manitoba
The records of the Province of Manitoba are held by the Archives of Manitoba and described in their Keystone Archives Descriptive Database
Centre du patrimoine
In addition to records in MAIN, the Centre du patrimoine has a searchable database available in both French and English
City of Winnipeg Archives
In addition to records described in MAIN, the City of Winnipeg Archives has further records described and digitized in its Winnipeg in Focus database.
Mennonite Archival Image Database
Digitized images from the Centre for Mennonite Brethren Studies and the Mennonite Heritage Archives in Winnipeg are both available through the MAID database.
National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation
Information on how to access and browse records of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation is available here.
University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections
In addition to its records described in MAIN, the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections has further records described in its institutional database.
Further to these resources, an institution may have records that are not yet described. An institution's Repository page may provide a more general description of what types of records they hold, as well as contact information for the repository if you wish to learn more about their records.
