Biographical history
As the donor died soon after these items came to the Museum, little is available in the way of biographical information about the donor. It is possible that these photographs belonged to the donor's mother. The donor record notes only that the family was originally from the vicinity of St. Mary's, Ontario.
Custodial history
These items were donated to the Dugald Costume Museum in 1979. In addition to Helen Billings, the donor record is signed by D. Hancher and Anne Steininger. It is possible that they are siblings of Helen Billings.
Scope and content
The collection consists of two small prints, ca.1900, mounted on white card featuring head and shoulder shots of two women in elaborate hats. Also included is a small circular portrait of what appears to be the same two women, ca.1900, mounted on a gray card.
