Biographical history
Alexander Harvey McFarlane (1907-1985) was a farmer in south western Manitoba. He was born in the Kerfoot, Manitoba district and died in Carberry, Manitoba. He married Ina Williams (1913-1981) of Firdale, Manitoba in 1937, and they had twins Helen and Betty, and Beverley. In 1982 married Isabel Anderson. He farmed in the Gregg, Manitoba district until retirement in 1973, when they moved to Carberry. Further biographical information is unknown.
Custodial history
Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1996 by Olive Olmstead of Carberry.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of black and white photographs showing local people, a threshing outfit (1907). Photographer credited on some material is Joseph Paynter.
