Dates of existence

Harlington United Church existed in the Manitoba community of Harlington, located southwest of Swan River, from 1925 to 1955. Although there is no evidence of a church structure ever being built, there was a Methodist congregation in Harlington before it became part of the Kenville Co - Operative Church served by Presbyterian ministers in 1918. The Harlington schoolhouse continued to be used for church services and meetings after Union in 1925. In 1949, the congregation experimented with discontinuing services for a three - month period in the winter. Services appear to have been completely discontinued by 1955.
