Custodial history

These photographs, donated by Mrs. Gwen (Bailey) Barrick in 1986, accompanied a donation of clothing artifacts and feature items included in that donation.

Scope and content

Three of the photographs in this collection are snapshots, ca.1917, featuring a little girl identified as the donor and wearing a dress and bonnet donated to the museum. One of these snapshots also shows the donor's mother, Florence Bailey, and the donor's infant brother, Owen. Also included are two identical portraits, ca.1913, of a young woman identified as the donor's mother-in-law, Mrs. Carrie Barrick, wearing her wedding gown (which has also been donated to the Dugald Costume Museum).
