Biographical history

Greenway United Church existed in the Manitoba community of Greenway, located southeast of Glenboro in the Rural Municipality of Argyle, from 1925 to 1974. Its predecessor was Greenway Presbyterian Church, built in 1914. At Union in 1925, the charge consisted of Baldur, Greenway and Glenora. Rev. Gilbert Curtis was the first United minister. With the expansion of the farms, Greenway was "phased out" and the Greenway United Church building was sold to the Baptist congregation after its last service on November 3, 1974.

Custodial history

The records of Greenway United Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records. The provenance and accession date are unknown.
