Series was probably created by the Alumni Association Archives although this is unclear and the records may have existed in this format prior to their being housed in the Alumni Archives. In 2011 the series was made part of the Nurses’ Alumni Association of the Winnipeg General Hospital/Health Sciences Centre fonds as part of the HSC Archives/Museum. Transferred to the WGH fonds in 2016.
Scope and content
Series contains records related to the graduation exercises from the School of Nursing. The series includes correspondence regarding guest speakers at graduation, scholarships and other awards to be presented at the Commencement exercise, invitations to guests of the graduating students and copies of the Commencement program as well as other material related to the graduation ceremony and the financial awards that were presented to the students.
