Biographical history

Margaret Gaunt was a long time member of the Crafts Guild of Manitoba. She married her husband Paul in 1964, and immigrated to Canada from England four years later. She was involved in scouting and orienteering, was a member of the Women's Action Committee on the Status of Women, Amnesty International, Greenpeace and Earthwatch. Mrs. Gaunt also acted as Volunteer Curator of the Museum in the 1990's. Margaret Gaunt passed away April 9, 1999.
