Name of creator
At Union in 1925, the Douglas Pastoral charge consisted of Douglas, Chater and Sparling. Forrest and Humesville were part of the North Brandon Pastoral charge, which included Stewartville and Zion. Humesville amalgamated with the Forrest congregation in 1929. The name was changed to the Forrest Pastoral charge in 1931. The Douglas Pastoral charge amalgamated with the Forrest Pastoral charge to become the Forrest - Douglas Pastoral charge on April 27, 1947. As of July 1, 2010, Forrest-Douglas Pastoral Charge amalgamated with Rapid City to form Rolling River Pastoral charge in Assiniboine Presbytery.
The records of the Forrest-Douglas Pastoral charge came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records from the Rural Municipality of Elton in 1994 and from Judy Hare in 2007.
