Denis Picton, né le 9 décembre 1930 à Haywood, est le fils de Michel et d'Anaïs Picton. Il collectionne, au cours de sa vie, les documents racontant l'histoire des familles Picton et Déquier au Manitoba.
Custodial history
Les documents qui composent ce fonds ont été reproduits par Denis Picton qui en a donné une copie au Centre du patrimoine en juillet 2008. Il garde les originaux chez lui. Les documents ont été traités au moment de l'acquisition par Jacinthe Duval
Scope and content
Ce fonds contient une série de photographies de famille de Jean-Louis Picton et de Sophie-Louise Déquier, parents de la mère de Denis Picton. On y retrouve donc des photographies de leurs enfants et de leurs parents. Ces photos documentent en outre les habits traditionnels de la Savoie en France
