This item begins with gothic handwritten copies of sermons, poems, and letters dated in 1843 and 1844 in Alexanderdorf and Tiegenhagen, Molotschna, followed by the “Familienregister” of the Jacob Martens family of Tiegenhagen (Jacob Martens b. 1806, married to Maria Wilms b. 1811) (writing in the first person), followed by the family register of Jacob Martens b. 1831 of Ohrloff, and then the Kornelius Wall family of Ohrloff (Kornelius Wall b. 1800 d. 1860 and married to Judit Reimer b. 1808 d.1878) and other families. The book also includes additional poems, recipes for home remedies and other statistical data. [Mostly German handwritten gothic script, one page in Russian].
