Biographical history
Ernest Floyd Davey (1902-1948) kept...He was born in an unknown place and died in Carberry, Manitoba. His parents were John B. Davey and an unnamed woman. Davey married Doris Winnifred McGuire in 1934. He was educated in Carberry, after which he worked for Tomlinson construction. He then joined his father in his electrical/bicycle shop and later his funeral business. Davey served on the Town Council in 1939-1944, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Further biographical information is unknown.
Custodial history
Records have been transferred to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1990 from the Carberry Plains Museum.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of a scribbler containing names, dates, model numbers, and amounts of gun powder and shell sold between 1944-1954.
