Biographical history

Elizabeth Florence Thomson was born in Wellwood, Manitoba on November 29, 1923 to Lily Thomson (nee Nowell) and her husband Joseph Robert Thomson. There were six children of this marriage - Elizabeth, Robert George (died November 2006 in BC) and Guilbert (all born in Wellwood), and Joseph Edgar and William John (both born in Winnipeg). Elizabeth married Eldon R Fredericks, William John joined the RCMP and retired as a sergeant. Mrs. Fredericks now lives in Washington, DC, USA.

Custodial history

Records were presented to the Carberry Plains Archives by Mrs. Fredericks in 2007, 2009, and 2010.

Fonds consists of four letters and five photographs of Wellwood and family members.
