"The Rev. David Barclay died on Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. David is the dearly loved husband of Barbara,father of Ruth (Perry), and grandfather of Bethany and Hannah of Winnipeg. David graduated from the Wycliffe College in Toronto in 1955 and served in parishes in the Dioceses of Niagara, Toronto, Moosonee and Rupert's Land. Prior to his retirement, David served as Protestant Chaplain for Veteran's Affairs at the Deer Lodge Hospital and was Regional Chaplain for Western Canada. He was predeceased by his father The Rev. Norman Barclay, his mother Elizabeth, and his brother The Rev. John Barclay. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of St. James Golden "K" and of the South Winnipeg Club. He was also Chaplain for the Legion Branches 101, 90 and the War Amputations of Canada and held office in the Federal Superannuates National Association. He is buried in the cemetery at St. Andrew's Church, St. Andrews"

Scope and content
The fonds consists of correspondence between Barclay and the archivist, one service leaflet for the funeral,photographs of a stained glass window at Wycliffe College, and a typewritten memoir.
