Administrative history
Crescent Congregational Church existed in Winnipeg from 1910 to 1925. The successor of Crescent Congregational Church was the Crescent United Church (1925-1935). Crescent Congregational Church was founded in 1910 by a group of pioneers members of Central Church, Winnipeg. Many members of Central Church were moving into the Fort Rouge district at the time, creating a demand for a local Congregational church. The Crescent Congregational Church was built and dedicated in 1910 on the corner of McMillan and Aynsley (Arbuthnot). Crescent Congregational Church became a self-supporting congregation in 1913. In 1925, Crescent Congregational Church joined the United Church of Canada, becoming Crescent United Church.
