Administrative history
Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church has existed in Clandeboye, Manitoba, located in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrew's, since 1972. The predecessors of Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church were Clandeboye United Church, Dunara United Church, Petersfield United Church and Winnipeg Beach United Church. A joint pastoral charge existed for several years before the congregations began a trial amalgamation in 1969. In 1972, amalgamation of the four churches became official with Rev. A. Friebert presiding. The amalgamated congregation is known as both the 'Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church', as well as the 'Clandeboye Pastoral Charge of the United Church'. The amalgamated congregation was based out of Clandeboye in the winter, Dunara in the summer and Winnipeg Beach year round. The final service in the former Clandeboye United Church took place in September 1982, and a new structure was erected in its place. Clandeboye Amalgamated United Church is located at 8456 Highway #9 and Clandeboye Road and is part of the Selkirk Presbytery.
