Name of creator
The Castle Point Snowplow Club was founded by volunteers in circa 1966 to clear individual farm yards in the Castle Point/Pleasant/Melbourne districts of Manitoba. The Club was dissolved after 1975 when most of the area farmers bought their own equipment. Farmers wishing their yards ploughed paid an annual fee for the service. In 1968 Abe, Fred, and Ed Wiebe ran the tractor/snowplough for the club.
Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1994 by Fred Peck of Carberry, who was a club member.
