Administrative history
The Drop-In Centre was officially opened on June 11, 1983. The Town of Carberry and the RM of North Cypress built the building and remain the owners, while the Drop In Centre Board of Directors runs the programs offered within. Membership is open to any person aged 50 years or over, with Associate membership also available. The purpose of the building (set out in the Constitution) is generally to "influence the highest possible benefit and quality of life for the members within the geographic boundaries of the Drop In Centre." The administrative structure of the Centre is also outlined in the Constitution.
Custodial history
Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 2010 by Ralph Oliver.
