The Carberry Music and Arts Festival was founded in 1967 as a Centennial Project of the De Winton Chapter of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire to promote music and art. It then became an annual event until [1992] when it was discontinued. Since 1976 it was administered by a Festival Executive rather than the I.O.D.E.

Custodial history

Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1988, 1990, 1994, 1995, and 1997 by Festival Executive members, including Lynn Bailey of Carberry in 1997.

Fonds consists of minutes, financial statements, correspondence.
