Biographical history

May Bridle was a long-time resident of The Pas, a member of Christ Church Anglican congregation, and a Sam Waller Museum board member. She was born August 4, 1908 in The Pas Mission, Northwest Territories, to R.H. Bagshaw (died 1942) and Clara S. Bagshaw nee Watts. She married George Bridle on July 6, 1936 in The Pas and they were married for 59 years. She passed away January 29, 1996 at St. Paul’s Residence, The Pas.

Custodial history

Record PA96.12.1 was donated to the Sam Waller Museum by Elizabeth Kiloh on the 14th of July, 1996.

Scope and content

The Bridle family fonds consists of a guestbook manufactured by Hutchings and Patrick Limited, Ottawa, Ontario, each page indicates the month, day, date and person(s) who visited the Bridles in 1954 – 1955. All entries are hand-written by the same person.
