Administrative history

The B’nai Israel synagogue in Brandon, Manitoba was established in 1906 on the corner of 3rd and Princess Street. The B’nai Israel Jewish cemetery of Brandon opened in 1909. The synagogue closed in the 1970’s.

Fonds consist of financial records, minute books and other records from B’nai Israel Synagogue in Brandon, Manitoba.

Financial records include ledger books, cash books, day books, bank statements and returned cheques. Other records include minute books and a volume recording membership dues. Records relating to the cemetery consist of an plan of the grounds and a volume listing information about burials.
