Administrative history
Birds Hill United Church has existed in the Manitoba community of Birds Hill, in the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul since 1925. Its predecessor was Birds Hill Presbyterian. A church was built at 2105 Burton Avenue and opened on July 26, 1931. The pews used in this church came from the Central Congregational Church in Winnipeg, which had closed. A Christian Education building was added in 1957. Birds Hill United continued to be associated with the Springfield Pastoral Charge until 1950, and often did not have its own incumbent. It joined the Little Britain Charge in 1963 and remained there until 1992 when it once again became an independent charge in the Selkirk Presbytery, where it remains at the time of description.
Custodial history
The records of the Bird's Hill United Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of several transfers of records from the little Britain Charge in 1978; 1982, and 1983.
