Biographical history

Beverley Anne (Froom) (Higgins) Medford (1931-) was an entertainer and professional singer as well as choir director and organist for the Carberry United Church in Manitoba. She was born on a farm on SE 14-11-15 in the Rural Municipality of North Cypress. Her parents were Grace Irene Cathrea and Walter Manson Froom. She married Donald Higgins in 1950. Medford bought a business in Carberry, called "Bev's Boutique". She retired to British Columbia. Further biographical information is unknown.

Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 2002 by Shirley Witherspoon of Carberry, Manitoba

Scope and content

Fonds consists of three black and white photographs showing the Carberry Band, Maple Leaf Football Team (1898) and Fairview school (1898).
