History

The Benito-Kenville Pastoral charge was formed out of the Harlington and Kenville-Durban Pastoral charges. Around 1953, Thunder Hill United Church joined with Benito to form a two point pastoral charge. In 1955, Kenville, Harlington and Durban were added to this charge to create the Benito-Kenville Pastoral charge. The Benito-Kenville Pastoral charge is still in existence as a two point charge that includes Benito and Kenville in the Northland Presbytery.
