Audrey Fridfinnson's family came from Iceland to farm in the area around Akra, North Dakota. Miss Fridfinnson now makes her home in Winnipeg.
These photographs were donated to the Dugald Costume Museum by Audrey Fridfinnson in 1986 and 1999.
Scope and content
Items consist of 3 black and white photographs of Miss Fridfinnson's family members and their acquaintances dating from 1891 to ca.1923. These include Veiga Jackson, Dorothy & Bill Van Alstine, and Valdimar (Walter) Myrdal (uncle of the donor). Also described here is a piece of lace is believed to have come from the infant's dress featured in one of the photographs.
