The items in this fonds are believed to have belonged to Anna Bauer. At the time that these photographs were made Anna Bauer lived in Weiden-Hersbruck, Bavaria. The subject of one of the photographs, a young woman ca.1872, is identified as Anna through a caption on the reverse. The relationship of the other identified subjects, Mathilde [M]orhart and Margaretha Berger, to Anna Bauer is not known.
