Rowland United Church

Rowland United Church existed in the Manitoba community of Rowland, located northwest of Killarney, from 1925 to 1972. Its predecessor was Rowland Methodist Church built in 1913, which continued to be used as the United Church. At the time of Union in 1925, Rowland was part of the Ninga Pastoral charge, that included points at Ninga and Lyonshall. Rev. C.E. Whiting initally presided over this field. Rowland joined the Killarney Pastoral charge in 1964. Rowland United Church closed in 1972, and is now owned by the Municipality. The building was repaired and is currently still used for occasional services and meetings as the Rowland Church Park.

McCreary Methodist Church

McCreary Methodist Church existed in the Manitoban community of McCreary, sixty-two kilometers north of Neepawa, from 1898 to 1902. The Methodist circuit included points in McCreary, Rossendale, Ladysmith, Treherne North and Matchetville. In 1902, the circuit was renamed the Treherne North Circuit.

Rowland Methodist Church

Rowland Methodist Church existed in the Manitoba community of Rowland, located northwest of Killarney, from 1913 to 1925. From 1882 to 1887 Methodist services were held in private homes and then moved to the Rowland School until a church was built in 1913. The circuit included Ninga, Lyonshall and Rowland. In 1925, Rowland Methodist Church officially joined The United Church of Canada and became Rowland United Church. The former Methodist church continued to be used as the Rowland United Church.

Lena Presbyterian Church

Lena Presbyterian Church existed in the Manitoba community of Lena, located south of Killarney in the Killarney-Turtle Mountain Municipality, from 1907 to 1925. The first services in the area were led by Rev. Andrew Stewart in the early 1880s at William Crawford's house. The first service held in the village of Lena was held on April 14, 1907 in the railway station freight house. Services moved to Lena School when it was built later that same year. During the First World War, the Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian congregations formed a community church which lasted almost 60 years. Services continued to be held in the school until 1925, when Lena Presbyterian Church officially joined the United Church of Canada to become Lena United Church.

Lena United Church

Lena United Church, existed in the Manitoba community of Lena, located south of Killarney, in the Killarney-Turtle Mountain Municipality, from 1925 to 1968. Its predecessor was a Presbyterian congregation that held services at Lena School. Lena United Church held its first service in its own building on December 7, 1925, making it one of the first United Churches constructed after Union. The field also included Erskine United Church and was presided over by Rev. A. Little. On July 6, 1941 Lena and Erskine joined First and Hullet United Churches to form the Killarney Pastoral charge. The last service held at Lena United Church was on May 5, 1968 with Rev. J.W. Babcock officiating. The building is currently being used as a private residence.

Killarney Methodist Church

Killarney Methodist Church existed in the Manitoba community of Killarney, located 300 km southwest of Winnipeg, from 1887 to 1925. The first Methodist services held in Killarney were led by Rev. Andrew Stewart in 1883. Four years later, a small church and parsonage was built. A new church was built in 1900. The old building was moved and used as an implement shed, before it was evenutally demolished in the spring of 1925. Between 1907 and 1910 a Sunday School Hall was also built. In 1925, Killarney Methodist Church officially joined The United Church of Canada and became First United Church.
