Davidson & Gowen was owned and operated by Alexander Davidson and Frank Gowen. Their studio was located at 115 Tenth Street and specialized in photography and framing. When Gowen moved his family to Vancouver in spring 1913, the Davidson & Gowen Studio became Davidson Photography.
Custodial history
Donated to the Daly House Museum by the City of Brandon in 1977.
Scope and content
Photograph of a street car at the corner of 10th Street and Rosser Avenue. Photograph looks northwest. Visible businesses include the Canadian Bank of Commerce, the Canadian Pacific Railway ticket office, W. J. Young (grocer), the John E. Smith Block, and Model Repair Works. Also in the photograph is an automobile, horse-drawn buggies, and a police officer directing traffic.
